Process

  • INITIAL ENQUIRY

First of all send an email with a little bit of information on what you would like rendered i.e. what room(s) you would like done, approx. size of the space and style.

  • QUOTE

Once we have confirmed the brief via email or over the phone, I will be able to give you a quote on what was discussed. If you are happy with the quote, I usually ask for 50% of the payment to secure the slot and make a start. The rest will be paid on delivery of the final images. Payments are made via BACS.

  • INFORMATION TO SEND

Generally at a minimum I will need a, pdf scaled floor plan or with dimensions, sketches, a moodboard or look & feel of the space. If there is any specific that you need me to know, and also any current photos of the space always helps!

White Card Render

Once I have everything, I will start modelling and send over a ‘white card’ version of the space. This is the point where we can move furniture items around, maybe replace a piece of furniture as you might think it’s too big for the space etc. We can also check lighting and confirm camera angles.

FINAL MATERIALS AND RENDERS

Once we are both happy with the white card render, I will add the materials to the model. I will send across low res renders with the materials so you can make comments and changes.

When everything is complete I will render high quality images in both Jpeg and PNG and send these to you accompanied with an invoice of the final payment of 50%.

Please note, you will only receive the images and not the 3D model and copyright belongs to Studio Ercra until final payment is made.

FAQs

WHAT IS AN INTERIOR RENDER?

Good question! Interior Rendering, also known as Interior CGI’s are Computer Generated Images, made from a 3d Model of a space that enable us to take images/animations from any angle of the space, and control the lighting and environment.

It’s a great way for designers to visualise the space and show to clients so that they are confident in what is being designed and make any changes they want before construction even commences.

With a 3d model, you can create as many different styles as you want, colours, lighting and textures and is without a doubt a fantastic tool for interior designers to show to their clients all the different options of the space.

WHAT ARE YOUR LEAD TIMES?

It will order pend on the project, but generally my lead times are around 2-3 weeks.

DO YOU DO EXTERIOR SHOTS?

Whilst I prefer to do interior shots, I have done some exterior shots. If you are interested in me doing exterior shots for you, please send as much info as you can and we can discuss your requirements and go from there. If you would like some examples of some of my exterior shots let me know and I will send some examples over.

how much does it cost?

This is a tricky one to answer as it really order pends on the design and size of the space. But in general, for one render, a good size living room starts at £450-550, Kichens are approx £600-750 anymore renders wanted of the same space, the price gets scaled down to £50-£75 each as most of the modelling will be done, it's just down to setup, refining and post production.

Furniture items that are bespoke or antiques that will need to be modelled for example are an additional cost.
