What is an Interior Render?

What is an interior render? Good question! Interior Rendering, also known as Interior CGI’s are Computer Generated Images, made from a 3d Model of a space that enable us to take images/animations from any angle of the space, and control the lighting and environment.

It’s a great way for designers to visualise the space and show to clients so that they are confident in what is being designed and make any changes they want before construction even commences.

With a 3d model, you can create as many different styles as you want, colours, lighting and textures and is without a doubt a fantastic tool for interior designers to show to their clients all the different options of the space.

What are the benefits of creating an Interior Render?

TIME – It’s saves time, as you are able to visualise the space, and make quick decisions and changes. It will also save time with your client as they are able to quickly visualise the space, ask any questions, make changes and ultimately has a clear vision of what the space will look like so there will be no confusion.

COST EFFECTIVE – Interior rendering is becoming more accessible then ever and increasingly cost effective. It’s much faster to create them, and is a brilliant way to communicate the space to your client which will save costs down the line especially as it can eliminate or significantly reduce any last minute changes. It also is a great way to spot any issues within the construction of the project, particularly if there are any funny corners or placements of hidden lighting strips etc.

COMMUNICATION – As I’ve said, it’s a brilliant way to communicate your ideas to the client and get a project over the line. They know exactly what the space will look like and can make sign off. It’s also great for property developers who want to sell properties off-plan.

COMPETITION – Beautiful CGI’s will outshine your competition; it gives your project life and allows potential and current clients see how you communicate final designs in an exciting and realistic way.
